A Georgia man was fired from his job after he was caught on video making racist statements at a gas station.

On Tuesday (August 27), a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, showed a white man wearing a Black shirt and sunglasses making racist statements to an individual recording the interaction at a QT gas station.

“Go back to your own f***ing country,” the man stated.

“What did you say? Say that again,” the person recording responded.

“I said go back to your own country,” the man repeated.

Warning: Explicit

After making the racist statements, the man appeared to get into a work truck and leave the station. The video caught a clear view of the company truck's name, logo, phone number, and license plates.

It's unclear what unfolded before or after the 15-second clip. The Chamblee, Georgia-based company labeled on the truck, Buckhead Landscape and Design, quickly responded to the video after it garnered thousands of views.

In a statement on Tuesday, Buckhead Landscape and Design confirmed that the man seen in the video was no longer employed with the company.

“We have been made aware of a recent serious complaint regarding inappropriate and racist remarks made by one of our employees. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our organization,” the statement reads. “Upon learning of the incident, we immediately investigated the allegations, and the employee involved is no longer employed by our organization. His remarks are not shared or condoned by Buckhead Landscape and Design.”
