A college instructor has been found dead and a private school coach is missing after an empty boat was discovered on a lake in Georgia, per PEOPLE.

On Sunday (February 9), the body of 49-year-old Jocelyn Nicole Wilson was discovered after a boat was found circling near Wallace Dam.

Witnesses said two adults, one male and one female, were on the boat before it was found empty on Saturday (February 8).

Authorities are still looking for the second person, who has been identified as Gary Jones, a communications specialist and coach at Westminster Schools, a private Christian school system.

Jones and Wilson reportedly attended Clark Atlanta together and were engaged.

Since 2007, Wilson had been an instructor at Spelman College. She was most recently serving as a senior instructor for the Department of Mathematics.

Jones served as the varsity girls and boys track and field coach at Westminster.

“Our entire community is praying for his safe return and for his family during this difficult moment,” school officials said in a statement.

Crews are using SONAR to search the lake, but "poor weather" stopped their search on Wednesday (February 12).

“If they get a break from the rain and wind, they will try to search when they can,” officials added.
