Michael B. Jordan has broken his silence on his relationship with his Creed III co-star Jonathan Majors since his assault and harassment conviction.
Amid his meteoric rise in Hollywood, Majors was convicted of assault and harassment in connection to a 2023 domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The actor escaped jail time and was sentenced to probation and ordered to complete 52 weeks of a domestic abuse intervention program.
Following the conviction, Majors' movie Magazine Dreams was dropped by Fox Searchlight. The film is set to be released in select theatres next month after being shelved for nearly two years. Majors was also dropped from his role as Kang in the MCU.
Jordan addressed Majors' conviction for the first time in a new interview with GQ, describing the incident as a "tough situation."
“But he’s doing great, just got engaged,” Jordan said. “I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good.
"That’s my boy," he added.
When asked if he would ever work with Majors again, Jordan said, "Yes. Yes."
