A Marine veteran put an armed Publix security guard in his place after the store employee falsely accused him of stealing dog food.

Video circulating on social media shows the heated encounter between a Black Marine vet and a White Publix security guard, who accused the customer of theft.

“You better get that gun out of my face,” the veteran said as he walked out of the store.

The man later returned inside the store and told the guard that the dog food had been purchased at Walgreens and not Publix.

“Don’t touch me,” the veteran said.

“You don’t have to yell,” the guard responded.

“You better get that gun out of my face. I’m a Marine veteran with seven confirmed kills. You just want to kill somebody,” the customer replied.

The security called the veteran a "tough guy" and ordered him to wait outside of the store as he held onto the man's dog food.

“Hey, give me my dog food,” the former Marine said. “You’re not going to steal my shi-.”

The video ended with the customer grabbing his bag of dog food and walking away.

Footage of the encounter shared by @jungletopgraphytv went viral.

“Why is a security guard carrying weapons for?? And a vest??? He needs to be fired for pulling his weapon and pushing that man!” one social media user said.

“That security is trigger happy and is gonna kill someone trying to pretend he’s a cop,” another commented.
